While the State Swim program offers many wide-ranging benefits when learning to swim, our major advantages over the large recreation centres include:
When your child is in their swimming class at a State Swim swimming school, there are no other activities going on around them. This allows children to concentrate on their swimming lesson, without being distracted by other pool-goers.
We have invested heavily in our swim school facilities, and each location has either been purpose-built for our requirements or in the case of existing centres, thoughtfully modified to suit our needs. The end result is that every one of our many swimming school locations has been designed to create an optimal environment to learn to swim.
All of our swimming school pools are heated to 31 degrees, and include full change room and shower facilities, as well as a swimming shop, where you can purchase bathers, goggles and other swimming accessories. We also have plenty of on-site parking, making access to our centres safe and easy. Many of our facilities also include a viewing room, meaning you can view your child’s progress in their swimming class in air-conditioned comfort.
All State Swim swimming schools are fitted with the most up-to-date filtration and water treatment plants. These are operated by our highly trained, professional pool plant operators, whose most important job is to ensure that our water is always of the highest quality and presentation.
Most State Swim schools are equipped with state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly water purification systems that results in fresher and cleaner water without the overpowering smell of chlorine. This modern water treatment technology includes an Ultraviolet (UV) light system, which significantly reduces the amount of chlorine used.
The benefits of reduced chlorine exposure for your child include:
